This picture could easily have been taken from the shoulder of Crandon Boulevard
and probably was taken from where the sidewalk currently is located today.  If one could imagine
that the picture continues over to the right, and fast forward to today, one would see the elegant
entrance (with waterfall)  to the GrandBay condominiums and Ritz Carlton of Key Biscayne.
Amazing how a few years and a few billion dollars can change things.  Well, here is a glimpse
back to a simplier time.  A time when this webmaster rode his bike over the dirt roads past
corn and tomato plants, watermelons, bananas, mangos and horses to get to elementary school.
