| A wooden landing was built at this site where early settlers docked boats, unloaded supplies, fished, crabbed and explored the bayside during the 1890s. Present day fishing platforms serve as reminders of the island's maritime heritage. The piers are located on the west side of the Cape Florida State Park. |  |
