Crandon Beach - Key Biscayne Florida

It is a very tricky business to fold a towel and look your best at all times.
We have found the best way to illustrate how to do this is through this photo mantage.
First things first. Pick up everything that is not on the towel and put cell phone, lipstick, skin lotion, tanning cream, book that was never opened and beach dress back into carry bag.
Secondly, stand around and see who is going to pick up the towel first and find out which way the wind is blowing.
As the towel flaps around in the breeze, find the least brightest person to get on the side of the towel where all of the sand will fly and blow into their face.  Check to see if anyone is looking first that might tip this person off.  Shake towel and let the breeze do it's work.  Stay focused and act serious before cracking up when they get a mouthful of sand.
Dah dah!!! Worked like a charm.  You can crack up now.  Now she is wearing red lipsticksandpaper. Great fun. Good party trick.
Now that she has figured this out, immediately pretend like you did not plan it this way.
She feels like enough of a dunce.  Suggest  that you move sideways so that the sand does not "get her" anymore.  She will move like a lemming.
You will now have to lead the rest of the way, so fold the towel longways and wait for her to understand what is going on and figure out what hand goes over and what hand goes under.  It really is not THAT hard.  If you THINK about it!
Pull towel tight and prepare to roll up or fold.
For the sake of demostration, these girls have chosen the roll up technique.
Towel folding ettiquette dictates that the person
that has the sand in their lipstick has to do the hard work of rolling the towel up.
After the towel is rolled up, set inside your beach backpack and stand around until some guy offers to carry it for you.  Say "No Thanks" and then have something else to talk about on the walk to the car.
