Cape Florida has to have guidelines just like any other first class park in order to keep the park clean and safe...please do your part and keep it nice for when you come back
The Guidelines for Cape Florida are as follows:
- For your safety and for the safety of others, please do not feed, or attempt to touch any of the animals.
- Intoxicants and firearms are strictly prohibited
- Pets are not allowed on bathing beaches or in the concession area and may be restricted in other designated areas. Where pets are allowed, them must be kept on a six-foot, hand-held leash and well behaved at all times.
- The park offers many recreational opportunities to visitors with disabilities. Should you need assistance to enable your full participation, please contact the park office. Phone number 305-361-5811 or visit their website at www.FloridaStateParks.org
- Cape Florida is open from 8 a.m. until sunset, 365 days a year.
- No overnight camping is permitted except for overnighting on boats in No Name Harbor.
- An entrance fee is required.
