The Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park "No Name Harbor" Rules

There is an overnight anchorage fee of $15.00, and a day use fee of $2.00
Mooring on the seawall in the Harbor overnight is not allowed
Boats may not be left unattended overnight.
Swimming from the seawall is prohibited. Swimming from your boat is not. (Is this a great country or what?)
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed. (Nobody seems to know about this rule)
Grilling is not permitted along the seawall.  You can grill close to the seawall or on the grass or on your boat.
Firearms and weapons are not allowed within the park; this includes spearguns.  As of this writing, picnic plastic
forks are still allowed.
Your pet alligator, or dog, or other pet must be on a 6 - foot leash at all times.  Not a 7 foot leash, not a 5.5 foot leash,
a 6 foot leash. We have yet to witness a crackdown on leash length.
No overnight parking of vehicles in the parking lot.  (OK fair enough)
Please use the free Pump-out station to empty your tanks.  Dumping is NOT allowed in the Harbor. (good rule)
Keep your receipt.  If you leave the park and return, you MUST present you receipt to the Park Ranger or
you will have the good fortune to pay again by paying the entrance fee.
Park Rangers will do periodic checks for receipts (true).  Anyone without a valid receipt will be asked to leave.
(or pay again, so it is best just to get a receipt)
