Recreation
at Cape Florida
State Park on Key Biscayne
Rent a bike, sailboat, kayak,
beach
chair, umbrellas, paddle boats, to see and enjoy the park both
on and off
of the water.
There are miles of paved roads that
are
closed to automotive traffic that make for a great family ride
or roller-blade
through Cape Florida. On the
water,
one can appreciate the spectacular waters and the lighthouse
from a totally
different perspective. The
standard
recreational ideas that go along with the beach such as building
sandcastles,
lounging around in a hammock, reading
a book, going for a swim, go skin diving, break out the barbeque
utensils
and fire up the barbeque, take a walk
through the park, go fishing, take a tour of the lighthouse and
the keeper's
cottage,
On top of all of this, there are
refreshments,
showers and restrooms. Prepare yourself to spend the
entire day
enjoying all that Cape Florida and
Bill
Baggs state recreational facility has to offer.
