One of the best ways that yours truly remembers when the bulky waste pickup happens is to
remember that it happens on the 3rd week of each month.  The third line on the calendar week.
The map above is the one issued from Waste Management and it essentially boils down to this:
March 14  - 18  April 11 - 15  May 16 - 20  June 13 - 17  July 11 - 15  August 15 - 19
September 12 - 16  October 10 - 14  November 14 - 18  December 12 - 16

Bulk Waste

Bulk Waste will be collected curbside on a monthly basis on the third week of each month on specific days
as according to the map above depending on where you live.
Please do not put bulk waste out more than 24 hours before your monthly scheduled pickup date.

Household Garbage

Regular Garbage will be collected twice each week from your backyard or side yard, depending upon where you
keep your cans.  If you prefer you may also bring the cans to the curb.  The important thing to remember is that
clear access to your garbage is needed so that the garbage can be taken out to the garbage trucks.

There are some basic regular garbage rules that you should make sure to pass onto your domestic help staff.
All regular garbage should be placed in cans no to exceed 32 gallons in capacity or 50 lb.. so that the garbage can be
safely and efficiently removed from your property.  If plastic bags are used, they should be securely closed and tied and the garbage
should not be heavier than the bags can effectively contain without breaking open.
Please be sure garbage is accessible on all service days.  Gates should be unlocked and dogs or other animals should
be confined away from the point of service at your residence.  If you prefer, you may also leave your garbage outside of the
fence or gate on collection days.

Schedules of regular garbage

North of West McIntyre Street is Tuesday and Friday.  Bagged and/or properly bundled yard trash is on Friday.
South of  West McIntyre Street is Monday and Thursday.

Yard Trash

Yard trash will be collected with the garbage once each week on the second day of your regular garbage pickup, provided that
the yard trash is placed next to the garbage in appropriate containers, bags, or bundles less than fifty pounds each with no dimension over
four feet each, and with limbs or branches not exceeding four inches in diameter.
Yard Trash does NOT include any debris resulting from tree removal, land clearing, land development, building demolition, or
home improvement.

Speaking of yard and bulk trash....What ever happened to our dumpster?
Our freedom of dumping has been removed without a whisper.  Now  we can't clean our yards
whenever we want and remove the trash immediately.  Further proof that the Village could not manage
a simple community dump.  They don't like it...It disappears.  Take note. View the historical footage here.

Bulk Trash

Bulk Trash will be collected curbside on a monthly basis.  Bulk Trash includes any household furniture, household furniture,
household trash, white goods, and/ or/ yard trash that cannot be cut for placement into a container, bag or bundle due
to the materials exceeding the weight and size restrictions for regular trash collection.  Items must not exceed six feet in length.
Please place bulk waste curbside 24 hours before your scheduled pickup.

OK....Everybody got that?  If worse comes to worse, move to a condo or look up the street to see if your neighbors trash is out.
