The Village of Key Biscayne's Dumpster Diving updates...Watch your Council in action!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the fun continues. One would think that on an island as small as ours that after the thousands of times that our dumpster page was viewed in the first week that it was up, that someone in a position of power would take some action as to avoid additional embarassment. Nope. The fun continues.

Another Village of Key Biscayne approved sign makes the grade and rest assured that the same level of care and diligence that is given to such things (little things) like a fence that is not falling over and a sign that is not bent in half, is the same level of care that is given to the larger projects like the Crandon Beautification, the Village Community Center as well. Now don't you feel better? Oh, darn...Dumpster full and closed again....

Another day, another full dumpster. That is not the best news of the day though. At sunset, with all workers off of the property, the gates swung open in places, and literally hundreds of thousands of OUR dollars just sitting there on the construction site waiting to disappear, the diligent staff has made it easy for anyone to back up their truck and take what they like from the Village of Key Biscayne Community Center Construction site.

Fret not citizen... The Village of Key Biscayne has though of everything to deter would be felons from making off with our tax dollars by this handy dandy sign that strickly forbids removal of anything from this site. We are making a couple of assumptions here. 1.) The crook can read English 2.) The crook will not notice that the gate is unlocked and 3.) The crook can read at all. Anybody got a cost on how much we have lost due to theft yet?

Just the latest update on the dumpster situation and yes we will continue to chronicle this village.
