The Village of Key Biscayne..It takes a village to raise a dumpster...

Ya know....What comes first? The practical dumpster that every citizen on Key Biscayne would have to use from time to time as we build, improve, cut, remove Hurricane debris, and things like that, that would be accessible enough that the little old lady at the end of the road that sits on two phone books to drive her 1964 Biscayne with a trunk full of wet National Geographics that were flooded in a storm could easily dump into the dumpster.......or..... build a massive Community Center and spend and borrow money that we don't have. The answer to the wisdom of our current council and the councils past is revealed in the photos themselves. OK, I'll tell.
They thought that the Community Center that people might pay to use should be built immediately and the practical dumpster that they know that everyone has to use at one time or another should be as ridiculous as possible and never really open except for people who are really really nice to certain people in the Government and they will get a key to the gate. True. The rest of us have to look at the perversion of representation for our tax dollars.

Another Village of Key Biscayne approved standard of the height of the common dumpster. Notice the picture on the top left. Now, this is NOT your mother's dumpster. The image on top right? Mixed message. Open gate, closed dumpster. Another perfectly accurate of our Village Zoning and Public Works working in perfect harmony.

Is this Nirvana or what? Realizing that most of those frequenting the dumpster do not speak the very good English, there is an additional sign added (Estimated cost to the Village...$400)

Right on top of the situation, months go by and, oddly enough another dumpser is added! Whoops. Nevermind. It was just that the first full one was no picked up. The second one quickly filled up, the two signs are apparently not effective for all and a possible discrimination lawsuit from the ACLU and others for the Village of Key Biscayne discriminating with signage that does not cater to the needs of the bilingual illiterate, a Road sign helps settle this.

Just look at the progress of that building in the background. Isn't that pretty? What dumpster? Continue.. you will be glad that you did. The saga continues with more irreverant humor and shocking photographs.
