Columbus Day Regatta
2004 Columbus Day Regatta Sunset.
The boats that have come from
everywhere, the professional party people,
the accountants looking to
take their clothes off in front of total
strangers, the bank managers adjusting
their bifocals, the completely smashed
college students showing everyone
what they have learned so far at school,
and everyone else calls it a day.
Another successful Columbas Day Regatta
comes to a close. The music
dies down, one can hear the waves lap
up against the boat hulls, and for
some of us, it was just another excursion
into website excellence in reporting.
Somebodies got to do it.
