| Key Biscayne's Harbor Drive looked like
a complete circus festival with Bush people on one side of the entrance
and Kerry supporters on the other. The contrast was obvious to anyone
paying attention.
Electric Cars with Bush'04 stickers on them line up next to the 3 wheel bike with the WWII veteran ever so delicately stepping off to cast his vote. Today is the day that one will see people that have not been seen for years, and the unification of the election process in and of itself is indeed a refreshing change. It is a place where the numbers are people. |

| Can it be any better at the Key Biscayne
Community School? Of course not. Residents running for office
are cloning themselves in between the two polling places, to have some
face time with those who are determining their political fate.
Signs are the rule of the road and every one of the ten contestants had an abundance of signage. Poll observers were observed, police cars remind all that there is a time and a place for civil disobedience and this is not the time or the place. Key Biscayner's obliged. |
