MIAMI KITEBOARDING HOSTS
THE
FIRST WOMEN'S KITESURFING EVENT
Crandon park beach,Key Biscayne, Miami, the entire day of Saturday March 20th 2004, from 10.00AM till 7.00PM.

This will be a Premier in this New Extreme Watersport, since the sport started growing along our coasts couple of years ago and this unique Event has already generated a huge interest and lots of enthusiasm in the entire kitesurfing community in Florida , throughout the USA and up to Europe, with French Contestants. It is a huge gathering of all women involved
or interested in kiteboarding.
There will be emphasis put on safety,
and accessibilty of that sport for women.
FREE Clinics for beginners, intermediates
, and safety demos, and will go on all day;
A Women's Contest will allow locals and
nationals along with some international riders to compete together.
A free riding and Men Exhibition are also
part of the day.
It will bring some of the top world Pro-riders
around for exhibitions, men and women.
The Event Organizer
Miamikiteboardingis the first kitesurfing school started in Miami .It was created in 2001 by three crazy French sailors, who were the pioneers of the Instruction of kite boarding in the area and they promoted the safety of the sport by spreading the best and most unique methods of instruction : Teaching on Sandbars, in shallow waters , away from the shore assisted by a pontoon boat and professional instructors. .
Not only they developped the biggest School
of Miami but they set up the craziest Kitesurfing Challenge ever done yet:...
Crossing the Gulf Stream on kiteboards
from the Usa to Cuba!
The performance was accomplished in December
2001, and is still the World Record for Distance in Kitesurfing and
is in the Guinness Book of World Records. The 5 Riders who achieved that
World Record will be gathered exclusively Saturday March 20th for
the kitesurfing Men's Exhibition.
