A boater decides to take a closer look at the waterfront realestate on Key Biscayne.
A wider shot shows the high winds and
waves in Biscayne Bay.
Not expecting the heaviest winds on the
leeward side of Key Biscayne,
many boats were washed ashore. This
photo was taken from the lot formerly
owned by President Richard Nixon in the
1970's. This brand new seawall
got it's first breaking in thanks to Hurricane
Frances.
Not even the high tide could help to free
this vessel. Hard aground.
If you have to wash up on an island, not
a bad place to be....
