Suntan on a private sandbar - Key Biscayne
Sandbars make the best tanning locations anywhere on the water. The reflection of the sun off of the ocean provides an even and
faster tan than merely laying on a beach towel out by the pool. Perhaps finding a sandbar all of your own would rival
tanning on the beach where the sunlight would refract off of both the sand and the sea. It is hard to say. We may have to leave
such intricacies to the experts. This very happy and contented tanner has found her spot in Biscayne Bay with the island of
Key Biscayne as a backdrop. Sailboats sail past, waverunners put up the occassional show, fishing boats leave a wake
that can make it all the way into the chair on the sandbar. All is well.
All is well until the time that one remembers the rhetorical question that nearly every fisherman and every boater has said for years.
" Don't like the weather here on Key Biscayne?" " Wait ten minutes and it will change".
The past few days here have proven that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Mornings and early afternoons have been beautiful mixed
with heavy downpours mixed with light drizzle, mixed with sun showers, then back to full sun.
