Biscayne Bay with Key Biscayne on
the left horizon of the photograph and the partly cloudy weather that has
been characteristic of the past couple of days. This photograph is taken
from the south side of the beach at Virginia Beach (on the way to Key Biscayne)
facing south, southwest with the Florida Keys just behind the western tip
of Key Biscayne, the closest of the top of the Florida Keys being approximately
6 miles south. Approximately an additional 14 miles, one would be
on the northern tip of Key Largo. Key Biscayne and Virginia Key are
not part of the Florida 'key chain' that is interconnected by a series
of bridges. Key Biscayne sits all to itself as a destination point.
A great place to visit and explore, and a great place to live.
