A typical summer day on the beautiful waters
of Biscayne Bay National Park that are Biscayne Bay where the
Intercoastal waterway runs through all
the way down to Key West. Though very difficult to see, on the horizon
on the left of the picture, the islands
run into each other from Elliott Key to the northern tip of Key Largo.
The
stand alone island on the center right
is Pumpkin Key (because it is round like a....you guessed it, a Pumpkin),
and to the right of that is the mainland.
The water here is approximately 12 - 15 feet deep and with this
light chop, it is still easy to see the
grassy beds in between the patches of sand.
A day like this uses up alot of sunblock
and ice cold beverages, so prepare accordingly.
