Key Biscayne Sunset shown from Virginia Key Beach

The Key Biscayne bridge on the horizon shows people the way off of the Island and off of Virginia Key Beach. The buildings of Brickell Avenue are shown behind the WIlliam Powell Bridge. This picture of Biscayne Bay is taken on September 12, 2004 and though Hurricane Ivan is currently located just 450 miles away, it clearly looks as though it will miss us here entirely. It was a great day to reflect on all of the beauty and remember why we moved to an island in the first place.
There was a collective sigh of relief as the weather just got better and better.
