Another sailboat finding its way to where it does not belong
Another very nice sailboat was pushed out
of anchorage and into the piers of the docks at Crandon Marina. One
must
strech to imagine the force and power
of the wind and seas to break this boat free and then to push it into this
position.
Not only is this full keeled boat shoved
inbetween piers, it is also pushed up onto cement well higher than its
draft.
ALL of this happened without a sail up.
THAT is how strong the winds of Hurricane Katrina were on Key Biscayne.
