A couple of very big established trees fall...and the power is off.
A couple of trees that made it through
several hurricanes from last season, and old enough to have been around
for
several seasons worth of hurricanes did
not make it through Hurricane Katrina. This hurricane was never intended
to head this far down south but right
around sunset, the weather just got wetter and windier than the moment
before.
The power went off island wide in the
residential section and remained off for just around 24 hours.
