There is a stand here at the beach where
they rent bikes out by the hour. Crandon
Park Beach is ranked in the top ten
beaches in the world based on a number
of factors, and it is not known for its bike rentals in world circles,
but today
people wanted a better way to get around
the miles of boardwalk and beach.
If 2 wheels just don't thrill you anymore,
you can always try out a 3 wheeler, and of course if somebody wants a free
ride
while you peddle, the 4 wheel model is
definately for you. The four wheel bike actually looks more like
a car, and can
reach top speeds of four person power.
With the shade of the canopy built in, this is a family cruiser.
Now where else can you ride seated next
to your friends and family and take in the wonders of the beach RIGHT next
to
the sand, go through miles of bike path
that are covered by bamboo, and other tropical plants, and if you like,
you
could take the whole gang over to Crandon
Gardens and enjoy the tranquility of the wild birds, and watch iguanas
jump
into the water from the seagrape trees
as you approach. A must do for the children. They can even
steer!
