at 3301 Rickenbacker Causeway and for those of you
not completely familiar with the area,
you will find that it is the last right turn before the 'Big Bridge'
(as if you were headed to Rickenbacker
Marina or The Rusty Pelican Restaurant) and then take the
very first right turn and you will see
the fully stocked Marine workshop located straight ahead and
adjoining the vessel storage area of Rickenbacker
Marina.
Drive to the end of this alley of a street,
park your vehicle, walk through the gate and you are inside
the busy workshop. Rene Gonzalez
is who you want to talk to and he will help you immediately
if humanly possible, and if not, he will
make certain that there is a competent friendly mechanic
on hand to assist you with your particular
needs.

to Rene several years ago and have experienced
nothing short of excellent service
and have never, ever, no not once had to wait for more than a
couple of minutes even at the most chaotic
of times.

Once your part or parts have arrived, or it is your turn for service, Rene
can also
be seen hopping into his Golf Cart and
taking off to service a vessel that may still be in the water. Lumech

At the risk of sounding repetitive, we
have personally experienced, on more than one vessel, and on more than
one engine,
and on more than one instance cases where
other mechanics have been CLUE LESS to where to start to get us up and
running again, Lumech has properly diagnosed
and corrected or assisted and for ANY boater who relies on his or her
vessel for business related activities,
this information and or help is invaluable. Our MOST recent
experience included
a simple solution that saved us hundreds
of dollars and weeks of down time simply by getting the correct advice.
It took all of four minutes. We
were unfortunately in a situation where we had to get an engine out of
town that was
'acting up' and after weeks of phone calls
that went un-returned from the 'service' department of where we had to
shop while out of town.
