Miami or Fort Lauderdale International Airport is vital in South Florida.
Although everything is within walking distance on Key Biscayne, if your
plans call for a night on the town to Miami Beach, South Beach, Coral Gables
or South Miami you will either need to rent a car, or be driven to and
from your location by a professional driver. One of the strange parts
of the paradise that we all share down here is a fact of life that there
are some less than desirable places that you and your family would want
to end up and many times these neighborhoods join multimillion dollar areas.
If you are uncertain about where things are and exactly how to get there
and home safely, it is far better to hire a driver. |

Miami that all service or are located right here on Key Biscayne.
We personally call these companies whenever we have been in need and they
all have sterling reputations for prompt, courteous and reliable service
to the area. Some actually give tours to Key West and to Orlando
where you can just sit back and enjoy the ride. |
Now comes the part of price and how you
want to arrive. That is, in what style. Alternative
Transportation has Lincoln Towncars in their fleet and all of
the vehicles are kept in clean condition and in good repair. (Unlike
some of the companies that service only the mainland. There are some
horror stories about some of the shocking conditions of some of the cabs
that sit in the cab line at the airport waiting for clients. I personally
came in late late late one night and just figured I would take "just any
cab" home to my house on Key Biscayne and not only did the Air Conditioning
not work on this yellow bomb, I could not help but notice (and did not
notice until I was 3/4 of the way home that my driver was drunk).
No thank you. Never again.
It is far better to call one of these companies
to meet you at the airport.
