Vacation Accommodations on Key Biscayne
Short -Term vacation accommodations on
Key Biscayne are in a constant state of change as
there are only two Hotels on Key Biscayne,
one that is very old and offers nothing more than a
pool (no resturant, room service, or any
other amenities) and one that is the only 5 star, 5 Diamond
Hotel in South Florida which is of course
the Ritz Carlton on Key Biscayne (Click

accommodations
located at the Ritz Carlton property).
The Sonesta Beach Hotel and Villas closed
in 2007 to be re-built.
Because of the zoning regulations and
the different Condo Docs of each and every Condominium
on Key Biscayne, there are only a handful
of Condominiums that are legally allowed to
lease out by the week, and when we say
handful, we are talking about approximately between
50 - 75 units in total on the Island of
Key Biscayne!
Some of these units are located at Key
Colony's Botanica, yet once again because of the very
strange regulations, not all of the units
at Botanica are allowed to do this.
Regarding the Ritz there are studios
and 1,2, and 3 bedroom privately owned that are
available
for short term and basically one company (Key
Life Realty) on Key Biscayne that specializes
in transcient rentals (short term) and
keeps its focus on managing these various units
and homes providing a much needed service
for the owner as well as the vacationing
families and individuals from all over
the world. Even their sales and rentals division is
wholly committed to the Island of Key
Biscayne. A 'Boutique' Brokerage
in a sense.
